These are excellent restorations for inlays/onlays, crowns with insufficient room, or cases that need a shorter turnaround time. They are milled in occlusion with proper contact. There is no build up of porcelain. Full-contour restorations are adjusted by a technician to assure accurate fit and then stained and glazed for optimal esthetics. Ivoclar's ProCAD and Vident's Mark II are the most commonly used blocks.
